Are we too blase' about lightning? Growing up out on the wide open prairie, lighting was a real thing. Laura & Mony review all of the warnings about the dangers of lightning.

Laura feels it's time for Mony to get up to speed on the Harry & Meghan drama (a son of the King of England but not heir to the throne, and his wife). This leads ever so organically into a comparison Harry's upbringing vs that of Dolly Parton.

Dolly Parton was a true treasure. Mony and LL wander a few paces down memory lane.

Finally, lest you think you can let your guard down, beware, the bats are still with us: A woman in Michigan woke up with a bat in her mouth!

Laura Lisbeth admits her lack of preparedness in all aspects of life. This carries forward into LL relating the traumatic visit by a bat in her bedroom!

Mony is shocked to find that Laura went back to sleep with a bat in her house. Fascinating facts about bats are discussed. We give a nod to Pat's Noodles. Mony wants to talk about Batman vs Spiderman and Archie Comics.

Hit The Ground Running: This was the first album I recorded with Steve Phillips, of Rainmakers and Elders fame. Every time I revisit one of these songs, I am overwhelmed by the beautiful additions he made to my little songs. I remember him telling me after recording the guitar solo for Hey Man: "All of your songs are so sad." Thank you, Steve Phillips!

Laura Lisbeth claims that our body sends us messages but we don't listen.. Later, she and her sister Simone, aka Mony, are contemplating shame and the way it can make us care too much.
