Abuse by the very definition is to treat a person or animal with cruelty &/or violence - especially regularly or repeatedly. Do you know the signs? Do you know it first hand? No? Never? Then, you are one of the lucky ones. If the answer is yes, then you understand all too well. Sadly, you are not alone. According to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, an average  of 24 people - PER MINUTE are victims of rape, physical violence or stalking by an intimate partner in the U.S.
