In this episode, we hear from Bee an incoming freshman this Fall of 2020 school year and Conrad a recent 12th-grade Quincy High School graduate. Both students share their interesting perspectives of what it was like to try to learn and live and go through change amidst a global pandemic.

Sara Murphy is a 7th grade English Teacher and 9th-10th Pre-Advanced Placement English Teacher at Portola Junior-Senior High School. Sara discusses the difficulties of separating and balancing work and home life while working remotely and the stress of worrying about her students while not being able to see them in person. Erica Perdue an English Teacher at Quincy High School shares her highs and lows over the last few months of teaching from home, dealing with grief, being pregnant, and a mother to an adorable 1.5-year-old, all while navigating a pandemic.

Tom Brown shares his experience starting as the Principal at Quincy Junior High School the same day as school closures. He shares his experience meeting the majority of staff and students virtually and how this situation has informed his leadership approach.
