Loud & Local Podcast

Tony Abreu is a staple in the Northwest rock n roll community! Tony has been hard at work on his new band Mean Genius that is gearing up to record / debut . We chat about being a musician while staying home, the new band, musical inspiration and much much more.

SixGun just released the music video for their song "Lonely Man" this past weekend, so I hopped on the phone to chat with vocalist/guitarist Jake Day to talk about the band's new album, making custom guitars, growing up on SoCal punk rock and a little quarantine talk. Enjoy!

Are we all getting bored yet? I sure hope not! Kevin chatted with Rev from local punk band The Drowns about quarantine life, his bands new album, his work ethic, cringey tattoos, growing up and getting into punk and much much more.

I caught up with a personal radio hero of mine "The Late" Cathy Faulkner via phone last week to chat about how she's staying safe and sane out on an island during these crazy times, her journey through radio, embarrassing moments on air and all things Northwest rock n roll music.

Loud and Local will be on a little hiatus while we are all staying home. I'll be doing the same! I'll be uploading a ton of podcasts, as I'm now hooked up with a home studio. That being said, this is the last Loud and local that aired on March 21st with special guests Year of the Cobra, Kyyle Cort and Wyatt Olney. Enjoy and support local music!
