Loud & Local Podcast

I've known Alex Boston for close to 15 years now! Alex is a longtime member of the Spokane heavy music scene as a member of the bands Behold, Losing Skin and now his new project GREYING. We hopped online to chat about the Spokane music scene, growing up in the sticks, his screenprinting business, having a child, wrestling, hardcore, moshing in your bedroom, and a ton of other random junk. Stay tuned til the end of the episode to hear a new song by his band GREYING. Turn it up!

Brian McClelland was on tour with his hardcore band in NYC when all this craziness started to go down. We chat about what that was like, his band's new release coming out soon, what's up with HeWhoseOxIsGored, what he's been doing to keep himself from going nuts, his ideal apocalypse soundtrack, some of his favorite movies, bands he has been jamming and the junk food he finds comfort in. Dig in!

The last time I had Glenn Cannon on Loud and Local he was gearing up for a big tour down the West Coast......

then all this happened.

I caught up with Glenn this week to talk about the work he's doing to help people in need, some ideas he has for live streaming, how he's staying sane and just generally where do we go from here. Check it out and stay connected!

I'm podcasting from home for the next few weeks....or months....I mean, who really knows at this point, right? Loud and Local might be on a bit of a quarantine break, but that doesn't mean we gotta stop podcasting does it? Oh hell no! This week I chatted with Patrick Dwyer from The Rainiers. We talked a bit about how he's staying sane, staying busy and staying full plus we played all four songs from the Rainiers' brand new EP "Path of Brutality." Enjoy, stay safe, stay home and stay connected!
