We don’t know much about the ancient Egyptian gynecologist Metrodora, but her work has influenced the field of women’s medicine even today. Dr. Jane Cooke Wright, the fairy godmother of cancer research is responsible for the science beyond today’s chemotherapy treatments. Throughout her career she broke barriers and focused on sharing her knowledge and discoveries to advance the field of cancer treatment.
