Today we're honored to have Jolyn Canty in the studio with us. She's the author of Far Above Rubies: The Life of Louisa MacDonald. You'll love getting to know Louisa. She bore eleven children, was an author, an accomplished musician, and was also the wife of George MacDonald (one of the greatest Christian writers of the Victorian era). C.S. Lewis praised Louisa's husband with these words: "I know hardly any other writer who seems to be closer, or more continually close, to the Spirit of Christ Himself!" Louisa and George's love story is beautiful and their partnership in ministry continues to inspire couples today.
