Today I'm not lounging at all because today my fella Gaz Dicko get's interviewed by our Ruthos. The only brief I gave him was to be honest - probably a bad idea now that I think back over the years of our crazy lives...but it will be entertaining to say the least. I really wanted to try out getting a perspective of someone living with a business obsessed entrepreneur. 

Gary is my absolute best mate and has been there for me and Jake since Jakey boy was 1 year old. We have our ups and downs like any other couple in the world and although Gaz and I can be a tad unpredictable at times, I don't think we could be in a relationship with anyone else. Our crazy works for us. We both have very addictive personalities and it can become quite competitive in our household over stupid things but we understand each other like no-one else could even begin to.

Today I am lounging with Angela Laverick, one of my amazing lounge legend team members. Angela is a huge support to our community and has been working on her confidence over the past year. Even turning up to do this podcast was a big thing for her and I am super proud to be interviewing her today. Angela is the owner of My Kid Rocks where she practices her skills as a baby massage specialist to the people of Durham! Today Angela shares her story of becoming a first time mum, how being an empath has effected her job and her mental health and the whole ups and downs of starting a new business alone. Angela is one of the most knowledgeable people ever on her chosen career specialism and I cannot wait for you all to share this experience.

It's the season to be SILLY tra la la.....you get the picture! Lasses we are seeing so many posts coming into the Northern Lass Lounge facebook group about NOT giving up when everything is against you. We are hearing both sides of the story. Lasses who have ploughed money into the wrong training or the wrong markets and as expected motivation and confidence has been knocked. Lasses who have felt the dip in results but have kept going and are now starting to see positive results out the other side. Christmas can come with all kinds of emotions, guilt, panic, worry and thats a mixture of business and LIFE related. Please do your research and talk to our community before plunging into things you aren't quite sure of. There is no quick fix to business success, it takes planning, research, learning and a whole lot of putting yourself out there. We are here to help and we want to see each and every one of you succeed.

Today Im lounging with Emma Satchell the self proclaimed Queen of Death!

Emma is a funeral celebrant and end of life planner and is the founder of Dying to Help, a business where she provides all of these important services in a way which removes the taboo of talking about death or dying.
