On August 5, 2000, in the community of Berks County, Pennsylvania, Chester's world collided with tragedy, resulting in the vicious murder of his mother's boyfriend, Kenneth Long.

In this Florida Man Friday episode of Love and Murder: Heartbreak to Homicide, Ky bring you two bizarre cases from the Sunshine State. First, we meet Gordon John Wanser, a man with a notorious history of resisting arrest. When the Indian River County Sheriff's Office attempted to apprehend him at a Lowe's store, Gordon did what he does best—he ran. The charges against him are serious, involving drug trafficking and resisting arrest, but his antics provide a light-hearted twist to the tale.

In the second story, we follow the case of David Jerome Jackson, who after a heated altercation, opened fire in broad daylight in Miami. A manhunt ensued, and days later, police found him in an unexpected hiding spot—a cramped dryer in an apartment laundry room. His unusual choice of refuge left officers and onlookers in disbelief. Despite the gravity of his charges, including attempted murder and aggravated assault, his capture adds a touch of humor to the proceedings.
