Story Transcript:

Cy: Portmeirion oedd y lleoliad perffaith i Gethin.
En: Portmeirion was the perfect location for Gethin.

Cy: Y pentref hudolus, gyda'i adeiladau pastel a'i erddi gwyrddlas, yn llawn chwaeth Eidalaidd.
En: The enchanting village, with its pastel-colored buildings and its lush green gardens, was full of Italian flair.

Cy: Roedd yn gwanwyn, a'r blodau'n lliwgar.
En: It was spring, and the flowers were colorful.

Cy: Y cyfle perffaith i'w gynllun arbennig.
En: The perfect opportunity for his special plan.

Cy: Gethin oedd bob amser wedi bod yn ychydig nerfus.
En: Gethin had always been a bit nervous.

Cy: Ers sbel, roedd wedi bod yn cynllunio'r diwrnod hwn.
En: For a while, he had been planning this day.

Cy: Yn ei feddwl, roedd yn clywed eto a eto, "A ddyliwn i nawr?
En: In his mind, he kept hearing, again and again, "Should I now?

Cy: Ai dyma'r amser cywir?
En: Is this the right time?"

Cy: " Carys, ei gariad, oedd y person mwyaf hyfryd a brwdfrydig a oedd wedi ei dwyllo.
En: Carys, his girlfriend, was the most lovely and enthusiastic person who had captivated him.

Cy: Cafodd Eleri ei wahodd hefyd.
En: Eleri was also invited.

Cy: Roedd hi'n ffrind agos i'r ddau ac wedi addo helpu gyda'r llyfrgell lluniau, heb i Carys wybod am ddim.
En: She was a close friend to both and had promised to help with the photo library, without Carys knowing anything about it.

Cy: Y bore hwnnw, bu glaw trwm yn Portmeirion.
En: That morning, there was heavy rain in Portmeirion.

Cy: Roedd yn wir syndod.
En: It was a real surprise.

Cy: Roedd Gethin yn becso, "A fydd popeth yn cael ei ddinistrio?
En: Gethin was worried, "Will everything be ruined?"

Cy: " Ond pendronodd, oherwydd roedd Carys wrth ei ochr.
En: But he pondered, because Carys was by his side.

Cy: Nid oedd y glaw yn ei darfu hi o gwbl, roedd hi'n hapus i archwilio rhwng y defnynnau.
En: The rain didn't disturb her at all; she was happy to explore between the raindrops.

Cy: Nesa i'r gerddi ffrwythau, lle mae'r blodau'n chwalu'n chwa, daeth amneidiad o heulwen rhwng cymylau.
En: Next to the fruit gardens, where the flowers were blooming brightly, a ray of sunshine appeared between the clouds.

Cy: Gwelodd Gethin ei gyfle.
En: Gethin saw his chance.

Cy: Yna, saethodd Eleri gan gwtshio'r camera.
En: Then, Eleri positioned the camera, ready to capture the moment.

Cy: "Mae gen i rhywbeth i'w ddweud," meddai Gethin, ychydig yn ofnus ond yn benderfynol.
En: "I have something to say," said Gethin, a little nervous but determined.

Cy: Safodd wrth ochr y dŵr yn y gerddi.
En: He stood by the water in the gardens.

Cy: Carys troi ei phen.
En: Carys turned her head.

Cy: Roedd ei llygaid yn llachar ac yn chwilfrydig.
En: Her eyes were bright and curious.

Cy: Teimlodd Gethin tawelwch o'i amgylch, fel pe bai'r byd i gyd wedi stopio am eiliad.
En: Gethin felt a quietness around him, as if the whole world had stopped for a moment.

Cy: Dyma'r foment.
En: This was the moment.

Cy: Yn araf, pliodd y glin ac agorodd gasgliad bychan: modrwy.
En: Slowly, he bent his knee and opened a small box: a ring.

Cy: "Carys, a wnei di fy mhriodi?
En: "Carys, will you marry me?"

Cy: " gofynnodd, ei lais yn llenwi'r awyrgylch.
En: he asked, his voice filling the atmosphere.

Cy: Aeth Carys yn fud am ennyd, ei llygaid yn lled agored.
En: Carys went silent for a moment, her eyes wide open.

Cy: Yna, gwelodd llygedyn o lawenydd yn ei llygaid, a dŵad â chwerthin.
En: Then, he saw a glimmer of joy in her eyes, followed by laughter.

Cy: "Wrth gwrs!
En: "Of course!"

Cy: " rhialtodd.
En: she exclaimed.

Cy: Fe fachhedd ei fraich o amgylch ei wddf.
En: She wrapped her arm around his neck.

Cy: Roedd y glaw wedi stopio am y tro hwnnw, a Portmeirion yn edrych hyd yn oed yn fwy hudol.
En: The rain had stopped for that moment, and Portmeirion looked even more magical.

Cy: Eleri, sydd wedi dal y foment, yn cofnodi'r amser anarferol hwn.
En: Eleri, who had captured the moment, recorded this extraordinary time.

Cy: Gethin gwnaeth ddeall wedyn, nad oedd cywirdeb neu gynlluniadau yn bwysig.
En: Gethin then realized that precision or plans were not important.

Cy: Roedd y teimlad, y f'annwyl â'r foment, yn gwneud y trywydd yn berffaith.
En: It was the feeling, the love and the moment, that made the journey perfect.

Cy: Roedd y gwanwyn wedi dod gyda newid a chariad newydd.
En: Spring had come with change and new love.

Cy: Roedd y tri ohonynt yn cylchdroi'n dal y lluniau a rhannu hwyl, wrth i Portmeirion syfrdanu yn ei alaw lliwgar, gan gofio'r diwrnod arbennig hwnnw o gwanwyn.
En: The three of them circulated, taking pictures and sharing fun, as Portmeirion dazzled in its colorful melody, remembering that special spring day.
