You Brand by Julia Goodman
A manual for Confidence will help you develop your unique voice and your self-belief as a communicator, by uniting head, heart and body. Rooted in the psychology and techniques of the professional theatre, the You Brand method will teach you the craft of ‘performing yourself’ - wherever you are.
Julia Goodman set up Personal Presentation Ltd in 1989 after a European tour playing Lady Macbeth. She had the idea while lying in the bath, contemplating how to keep her head above water in a major recession as a divorced single mother of two children. She was surviving - when not working - on £90 a week social security. Within three years PPL had become a world leader in communication coaching.

SHADES OF PEMBERLEY: BLACK GIRLS LOVE JANE AUSTEN TOO
Hotbed Theatre Festival., Cambridge.
By Elizabeth Moynihan with Sybille Wehrli Produced by Éala Productions
Shades of Pemberley is inspired by memories of the performer’s teenage years, and her own personal journey from Cameroon to Strasbourg via the suburbs of Paris. The young Blanche’s loneliness finds an outlet in an unlikely obsession with Jane Austen.
Blanche’s imagination takes her to the cossetted, corseted world of Georgian England. Gossip, romantic disappointments, and the triumphs of dispossessed young gentlewomen resonate deeply with the disaffected Blanche. Her own isolation finds comfort in stories of a time when young women, rich or poor, had little agency of their own.
Performed by Sybille Wehrli Directed by Clara Onyemere Original score by Fergus Cahillane
Fri 16th: 6pm & 8.30pm (45 minutes) Venue: J3 | Tickets: £8/£7
