“Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.” Psalms 139:23-24

PRIDE is the problem - instead of receiving God’s challenge to turn back to him - we continue in our stubborn ways and become, “Dirty Undies,” but we do not have to settle in that place. Jesus willingly takes our dirty garments and in exchange gives us clean ones.

Pride can DISCONNECT, DECAY and eventually DISQUALIFY us from God’s purpose for our life. Watch Sunday’s teaching and humbly search your heart before God asking him to reveal any pride you may have within it.

Do you want ANYTHING more than Jesus?

It seems like such a simple question to ask, but so easily we can find ourselves off track.

Kappes Chatfield asked the hard question Sunday, “What Do You Want?"

Do you truly want Jesus and come before Him in a posture of humility or do you want the quick fix that will never heal the mortal wound?

God is a gracious loving God who gives us free will and he will allow us to have what we truly desire.

We have all found ourselves at the fork in the road, wondering which path to take... “Yahweh,” the narrow path
or
“Lucifer Lane,” and continue chasing comfort.

Watch, “Cross Roads,” and in those moments: STOP - push pause and pray.
SCAN - consider where you are.
SEEK - simply ask Him what he is inviting you in to.
SUBMIT - to His Will and get on your knees.

How many of us have a call on our lives, but we make excuses why we can't fulfill it? What is your excuse?

Pastor Todd kicked off our study of Jeremiah with a message called, "Excuses."

The next time you find yourself thinking, "I can't...I'm too..."
Remember that God says, "I CAN... I'm God!"

-So what is His definition of us….not yet….

But we don’t always remember that….
-Often we choose to define ourselves.

GOD REFINES US (Savior)
-Trials, struggles, sin, seasons
-Isaiah 64
-God allows this to draw us to Him and His definition

THE GOD WHO REFINES IS THE GOD WHO DEFINES

WHY?
GOD DESIGNS IT (THROUGH HIS LOVE) (King)
-No matter what the enemy may bring, God redeems it

What is God’s definition of us?
-BELOVED
