This story follows two Muslim teenagers, Zayneb and Adam, who navigate personal challenges and an unexpected connection while on spring break in Doha. Zayneb is suspended from school for speaking out against an Islamophobic teacher and travels to Doha to stay with her aunt, who encourages her to embrace her true self. Adam, meanwhile, is grappling with a recent Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis and has stopped attending college classes, instead focusing on creating an art installation. Their paths intertwine unexpectedly due to a shared journal and a developing romantic interest, offering mutual support as they confront their individual struggles and societal prejudices. The narrative highlights themes of identity, social justice, and finding connection amidst adversity, culminating in their decision to pursue a long-distance relationship and continue their personal growth.
