In follow up to his first interview, “The Truth of Deliverance as a Child of God”, David Gunter joins us again to share how it is we can come into true deliverance when we find ourselves “stuck” in sin. It’s coming to a place of having no fight left that many people look to deliverance ministries. However, as David explains, there is a truer way according to scripture. By surrendering to God and knowing His word, we can overcome Satan's attacks and live in the freedom of Christ's victory. In professing faith, have you truly submitted yourself to the Lord, or were you just trying to escape hell? It is in living as a true believer we will find the strength to walk out the good fight of faith. It is through the Holy Spirit - who lives inside of us as followers of Christ – that we are empowered to fight. The Holy Spirit is in lockstep with the Word, and without knowing the truth of scripture, we lack the tools to fight. It’s through study of the Word we are building up our armor, equipping ourselves to stand firm in God’s truth to walk in victory. When we see hopelessness, David encourages us to get back to the Lord and get into scripture to get back to the fight. The battle we face is here and now, and the only way to victory is through a relationship with the Holy God. You can have that relationship now.
