Emily Bura is a Licensed Professional Counselor who founded Wavecrest Counseling in Virginia Beach, Virginia. There she strives to provide a nonjudgmental, safe environment where she can help people reach their wellness goals. Emily enjoys collaborating with clients that seek to find meaning in adversity and life’s circumstances. She also has a special interest in working with young adults and those experiencing difficulties in their romantic relationships. As a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, she has specific training working with individuals with difficulties related to addiction. Emily is fluent in Spanish and appreciates the opportunity to work with clients that are otherwise unserved in her community.
