When you serve God, you may be persecuted. When you are faithful to Him committed to his purposes, it doesn't mean that everything's going to go well in your life. In fact, as we move closer to the end times, and we are, the more faithful, the more righteous, the more humble. And the more you are committed to the will of God, you will be persecuted, you will suffer more, we are going to be entering into a time where faithfulness is going to be punished by this world

Recently I was asked, What should I be praying for. And the way I responded to this in the visual was as follows. Pray that the Lord might teach you how to demonstrate the fear of the Lord. Now I've shared with you many times, the fear of the Lord relates to taking the priorities of God, and making them sincerely the priorities of your life. When you are committed to his priorities, you are indeed, living and demonstrating the fear of the Lord.

We are now ready for Psalm 131. And if I was asked to entitle this Psalm, I would say that it is a modest sum. And I mean that from two aspects. First of all, it is as we'll see, in a moment, one of the psalms of a sense, and going up specifically to Jerusalem for the purpose of worship, I think we would all agree and we're going to learn from this psalm, that we should be modest people, humble people, as we approach God to worship him.

If you are in a covenantal relationship with God, especially that new covenant relationship, through faith in that gospel message, then God has promised never to leave you never to forsake you. And God is listening to your prayers. In other words, there are great benefits from being in a new covenant or relationship with God.

When a person is saved, their life will most certainly reflect that salvation experience. We are taught that when a person believes in the Gospel, that's how you're saved, the Holy Spirit comes into your life. And through receiving Him you will most certainly be different. You will be as Paul said, that new creation in the Messiah.

With God, there's always hope. It doesn't matter how far away you are from God, how far your sins and iniquity have taken you away from the will of God with God as we learned, all things are possible, and he can save you. And he can cleanse you and give you life, even eternal life. But you have to want him, you have to want His grace.

Learn a biblical principle. When you are reading in the Word of God, especially in the gospels, and there is a change of location. That usually foreshadows a change in the subject, there's going to be a new issue that's going to be discussed and taught by the word of God. And we see a change in location. And this week study, take out your Bible and look with me to the Gospel of Luke, and chapter 18, the gospel of Luke and chapter 18.

One carefully reads the Word of God, this one will find great motivation for serving God, let me assure you of something, no one who is in the kingdom of heaven right now. Regrets any of the service that they did. For God, this is the best thing that we can do with their life to humbly and faithfully recognize his authority over us.

Every true believer understands the importance of prayer. And when we pray to Our Lord, we need to have the right perspective concerning ourselves meaning this, we need to see ourselves as God sees us. And God sent His only Son into this world. Why? To redeem humanity, every individual, that means there's no exceptions, every individual needed redemption. Why? Because you and I are sinful. Let me say that differently.

Do you have faith? Now the vast majority of you will say yes to that question. So I want to ask it differently. Do you have a faith that perseveres in all circumstances, and perseveres for a specific outcome? A specific result? And what is that? A faith that is pleasing to God? A faith that is biblically base is a faith that seeks and demands righteousness.
