God is indeed a God of justice. And therefore we need to behave justly. And even though in some languages, that word justice and the word righteousness is the same, many times in the Scripture, we see two different words being used for these two different concepts. Obviously, there's a relationship between them when we execute justice.

A number that appears very frequently in the Bible is the number three. Now, many times the same number can convey a few different things. For example, in the study of the number three that we're embarking in now, the number three relates to revealing, or testing. Now, testing and revealing are closely related. Why do I say that?

Sometimes when you look at a passage of Scripture, there is one primary message to that texts, one principle that God wants us to learn. And in the scripture that we're going to be studying today from the book of Psalms, we can say with all assurance, that there's one principle and that is this, God, when he enters into a situation, we can make it more personal. When God enters into your life, he will bring about a change. God's presence always produces a change.

And when we look at the word of God, we find that there are reasons abundant reasons why we should worship him. First of all, we know that God is holy, that he is righteous, that he is just, he is perfect, He is good. He is good in and of himself. And he does that which is good. And when we look at God's interaction with humanity, we see that God is gracious, he is merciful, He is Forgiving, and that God desires a relationship with his creation.

Our God is a God of commandments. And he gives us these commandments, not for anything that he needs. He gives us His commandments, in order that we might learn from him. And through learning through His truth, and applying his revelation to our life, that we can serve him and know joy, gladness, and also experience His provision, realize that the best place to find God's provision in our life, and I mean that in the fullest sense, that provision that can comfort us, he'll us, help us and also help us to be an assistance to others that comes when we are in his will.

We are in the midst of a study of the Book of Leviticus, we are now ready for chapter 18. And the second half, we saw last week that God gave us instruction on what was appropriate in regard to having relationships with others. Now we know something. When we talk about that special type of relations with a man and a woman.

In morality is certainly a tool that the enemy has used is using and will continue to use. We see not uniquely to any country but throughout the world. We're seeing growing immorality. And we see the negative effects that this immorality and I'm speaking about sexual immorality that it brings into the nation, greater disease, but also hardship, also a division within families and among friends, we see that when one lives immorally that it destroys, it does not build up.

Our God is a redeeming God. And ultimately, redemption is only available to us through Messiah, faith in him and what he did on Passover. I've shared with you many times that Passover is the festival of redemption. And it's because Messiah was crucified, nailed to that tree that cross that we can experience redemption.

Do you have an idolatrous spirit? Now I realized that I'm talking primarily to believers. And it may seem very odd to you that question. I mean, is it possible that a true believer has an adulterous spirit? The answer is yes, indeed. In fact, I would suggest to you that it's quite common. And what do I mean by an adulterous spirit?

An unusual Psalm today to get your Bible and look with me to Psalm 109. Now it is an unusual Psalm, because the words here are most harsh. The author is King David. David loved the Lord. He loved serving God, and he loved the righteous ways of God. David was an individual that knew mercy and grace and loving kindness, David was able to forgive.
