What does the word of God say about submissiveness to the government? Is it indeed the will of God that every believer submits to the government regardless of what government we're talking about, and whatever they decree? Now, many people based upon the passage of scripture that we're going to be studying in this lesson, they would tell you, Yes, it is always God's will for you to submit to the government.

There are many symbols in the book of Revelation. And in order to help us understand these symbols, it is wise it is proper to study Biblical prophecy, prophecy, especially from the Old Testament. And in doing so you will be better equipped in order to discern what these symbols represent and what they teach the reader. Well, in this edition of revelation shorts, I want to focus on three of these symbols. Now, these three symbols appear in many different places in Revelation, but I want to focus in on one chapter, chapter 17.

King David wanted his kingdom to be a righteous kingdom, full of justice, not just for some, but for all even those who were very poor. And in this psalm that we're going to look at at this time, we see some interesting information.

Nearly two years ago, I completed a study of the prophecy of Isaiah in its entirety. Now, this was done here in Israel, in the Hebrew language. And probably the most common response as we were going through this prophecy was this, people had not remembered how full of judgment and difficult things that were found in Isaias prophecy.

Now we know that the wise is placed that you can decide is in the will of God and to be in God's will, it means that you are committed to the purposes of God for your life. Let's say that another way. God has a call upon your life, what he wants you to do. And when you receive that call with that obedience is going to come God's presence, His power, His provision into your life.

God has a program. That is there is an agenda that God is going to bring about that, ultimately, is the establishment of the Kingdom of God. And Israel is going to play a major role in the events that will lead up to the kingdom coming and being establish. And the question that every person needs to wrestle with is this. Am I on board with God's plan?

There is timing when it comes to serving God. We need to be individuals that live according to His schedule, that we do the things not only that he wants done, but we do them when he wants them done. In other words, that we're totally submissive to the things of God, that we understand that to serve Him, we need to be listening, because God at any moment might reveal to us something new, something that we did not know something that may surprise us.

God wants His people to experience victory. And God is able to grant us victory over all things. But just because God wants us to experience victory, that he's able to grant us that victory. If we do not submit to God's order. Let me say it another way. If we do not submit to God's instructions, we won't experience that victory. It is only through submissiveness to the instructions of God, that we can take hold of the victory of God.

When you hear God, what comes into your mind, how is it that you think of him? One very appropriate way to think of God is Judge, as the Bible says, it is necessary for everyone to go before the judgment seat of Almighty God. Now, if you're a believer, where you're going to spend eternity is not what's going to be judged that is already been decided.

The apostle Paul admonishes all believers, that they should not be conformed to this world, but be transformed. And that transformation is going to prepare us to serve God. So learn a very simple principle. If you're not wanting to serve God, you are going to find that the Holy Spirit He will not work and bring about the changes that he's able to bring that he wants to change in your life.
