Loveland Heights Church of Christ

The final lesson in our sermon series on God's Amazing Grace. Something that is so often misunderstood and abused. Today, we'll recap everything we've studied thus far and apply it to how we should be a church of grace.

As Paul continues his second letter to the young preacher, Timothy, he continues to encourage his protege by reminding him to remember Christ and His resurrection. We look at the implications of Christ's resurrection.

So far in our series on God's Amazing Grace, we've learned what God's grace is, why we need it and how grace saves us. This morning, we look at the fact that grace saves us THROUGH faith. What does that mean? What does saving faith look like and how do we know if we have it?

What do a soldier, an athlete and a farmer have to do with faithful service to the Lord?

Are you shining the light of Christ in your life, or hiding it?

What does it mean to be a "good soldier for Christ?" How are we "enlisted"? What is the nature of our service, what/whom are we fighting against and how do we fight?

So far in our series on God's Amazing Grace, we've learned what God's grace is and why we need it. Now, we look at salvation being possible through grace and how God has provided His grace to man.

Last week, we looked at what God's Amazing Grace is, and this week we look at the reason why it is we need His Amazing Grace.

Last week we looked at Paul's charge in 2 Timothy 2:2 regarding the necessity of teaching others what we've been taught. This week we look at Paul's charge in 2 Timothy 1:13-14 related to that, and our duty to the teachings of the apostles.
