We close out our "Why Do You Believe?" series with a scriptural look at denominationalism. All of these things we've talked about that we do, or should, believe in culminates in a study as to why there are so many churches with differing beliefs.
How is one to "fight the good fight of faith"? What does that mean? And what does Paul mean that we need to "lay hold of eternal life" in 1 Timothy 6:12?
Why do we, or should we, believe in Baptism? Two reasons, including who commands it and the blessings provided through it, give us enough reason to believe in it's power and the essentiality of it.
Paul gives the young preacher, Timothy, some reminders, warnings and commands for those who are not rich, those desiring to be rich and those who are already rich, respectively. How does this apply to our lives?
What is the Lord's Supper? How does it relate to our faith and how should we observe it? Once again, we turn to the scriptures to answer these questions.
1 Timothy 6 opens up with a great lesson referencing our earthly pursuits. Are we fleeing the things we should be fleeing? Are we pursuing the things we should be pursuing?
Another essential belief to our faith is that Jesus is coming back again. How do we know that He's coming back, and what is He going to do when He returns?
