As adopted children of God and members of His household, we are family! And family is important. We must treat each other as family members as Paul teaches the young preacher in the beginning of chapter 5. Join us as we dig into this teaching and apply it to our lives.

Our next lesson from 1 Timothy provides some great suggestions that we should take heed of in order that we may grow spiritually and others may see our progress.

In our first lesson we discussed why we hold the fundamental belief in God. A belief that is essential for one to believe in the Bible. In our next lesson we'll look at some amazing truths that can shape our faith in God's inspired Word.

All cultures, throughout history have faith. Why? Because they saw a supreme being in the things, occurrences and wonders found in nature. A basic belief in God is essential for anyone to become a Christian. And that belief in God comes from His creation. We can't look at the Bible and say, "I believe in God because of what this says." For where does the Bible get its authority? Without belief in God, the scriptures are just words on a page.
