Jesus declares to His enemies that they will die in their sins, but their belief is that they are morally better than Him. In many modern English translations of the Bible, the first eleven verses of John 8 (the account of the woman caught in the act of adultery) are said to be verses that do not appear in the earliest Greek manuscripts. So how do we explain its inclusion in later Greek manuscripts? And does this mean that this passage is not inspired? In this episode we continue to look at Jesus' words to His enemies at the Feast of Booths in John 7, and talk about the confusion that the Jews had about Him (at no fault of Christ), as well as what Jesus has to say about excluding the kingdom from those enemies.
