We finished our Nazarene series remembering that we are a sent people!  God is calling all of us to go and proclaim and live out the Good News of Jesus inviting others to join us, participating with God in the redemption of all things!  

Just as God sent his Son into the world, and just as the Son sent his Spirit; the Father, Son and Holy Spirit sends the Church, you and I to continue to the ministry of Jesus!

All of creation is groaning as in pains of childbirth. We as Christians are called to steward and care for God's good creation. This is a challenging message as creation care often gets tied up in American politics. In the Church we are called to a different politic - the ways of Jesus! We should be the first ones to be environmentalists.

We are in the middle of preaching a series on Romans from the Church Common Lectionary. During this month of July we are also exploring the three main identity markers of who we are specifically as the Church of the Nazarene: Christian, Holiness, and Missional.

We've begun a new series on the challenging and theologically rich and deep book of Romans. Paul's letter to the Church in Rome is full of Good News and teachings about who God is and what we are called to do as the Church in response to the Mission, Character and Love of God in Jesus Christ!

The one who spoke creation into existence prayed for you and constantly thinks about you and prays for you!

Jesus explains to his disciples his relationship and oneness with the Father. The only way we have access to God is through Jesus. And says that if we ask anything in His Name, He will do it. May we be bold in our prayers, not for health and wealth, but for God to do miracles in and through us so that God will be given glory!

On this 4th Sunday of Easter we remember that Jesus is the Good Shepherd who wants to guide us and protect us. As King David says in the famous 23rd Psalm, "He leads me beside still waters and refreshes my soul."

As a church, may we all realize that everyone is called to care for others and to share in abundant life God has given us. In Acts 4, Luke gives a picture of what an abundant life looks like, sharing with others, not thinking what we have is our own!
