Happy 2023 to you and yours! We are back with more madness and hip hop topics for the new year as Nick and Jared catch you up with everything that's happen since we last left off due to the holidays. We sadly start the show off with the untimely passing of former Three 6 Mafia member, Gangsta Boo who died at the age of 43. As of this episode (recorded January 9), there has been no official cause of death but the marauders do look back and talk about their favorite memories and songs from her. We then shift from the sad to the serious when news broke that Gunna has been released from prison after pleading guilty to racketeering charges. Even though he has been released from prison, a lot of people have had mixed feelings about him being home and the way he came home due to his leaked courtroom video. We asked and wondered if Gunna snitched his way home and ask if all snitching is equal. More court case news continues as Tory Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan Thee Stallion all the way back in 2020 and faces up to 25 years in prison and deportation back to Canada. The marauders give our thoughts on the entire case, now that it's over and wonder if Tory's career is over due to the ruling. After that, the boys hear and discuss on Drake's brand new necklace that's worth almost $13 million. The reason why Drake's new jewelry is been talked about is due to the 42 diamonds that's in it thanks to the number of times Drake thought about proposing to women in his lifetime. Back at it again with another new episode of the show with Nick and Jared (and Kyle in spirit) and the marauders kick things off with an interesting list from Rolling Stone. The music magazine published (November 28) online their 50 worst decisions in music history with some hip hop picks thrown in the mix. One pick is an obvious one from (you guessed it) Kanye West and two were picks from the 90s. See what we said about those decisions that Rolling Stone mentioned plus a surprising tidbit from one rapper on the list thrown in during the segment. Next, up and coming Memphis rapper Glo Rilla sounds off on women wanting to  find love in clubs in 2022/23. The boys give our opinions on if what she says is right or wrong since they can't speak on the behalf of women. After that, T.I. had social media talking about him after an old clip resurfaced on him (from August 2020) about him snitching on a dead relative before his music career took off. We ask if we should be vilifying T.I. for doing that, if his music career will take a hit and if we should give him the same treatment as 6ix9ine. Happy belated Thanksgiving to everyone here in the states, as Nick and Jared are finally full from leftovers and are back with another new episode of the show! The marauders kick things off by celebrating Nas' new album King's Disease III by alerting the listeners of its critical and fan praise between producer Hit-Boy and rapper Nas. The marauders ultimately crown the new as a rare achievement for Nas as a four-peat on him and Hit-Boy four album run. (King's Disease, KD II, Magic & KD III) We later dive in and give our picks on which other artists may have an under/overrated four-peat in hip hop and with some surprises. After that, Grammy nominations were released (Nov. 15) to (no surprise) lots of outrage and some surprises as Beyonce leads the pack with nine nominations. But the biggest buzz in the culture was the nominee for the Best Rap Album category. (DJ Khaled, Future, Jack Harlow, Pusha T and Kendrick Lamar). We voice our opinions on which rapper deserves to win the award. Plus,  with Khaled and Harlow respective albums being critically panned, Nick gives 10 albums on which should have took their places that were better reviewed and received by fans and critics. After that, Bow Wow gets back into the news again after he attempted and failed to shoot his shot on AEW wrestler Jade Cargill. With the two going back and forth on Twitter, we ask if the entire situation is real or if it's something that the company is cooking up in order to please its fans. Later, the marauders attempt to solve a math problem involving Saweetie and her recent album doing a shockingly low 2000 albums sold. We ask what went wrong, who is to blame for the sales and what Saweetie can do to revive her career. All that and, Ludacris ranked, shout outs, album recommendations, laughs and lots more!!

Back again with a late upload and technical issues for this episode (apologies!). Nick and Jared hold things down with Kyle in spirit as they sadly start things off with the untimely passing of former Migos member Takeoff who was shot and killed in Houston back on November 1st. We give our thoughts on the situation that took place and give our favorite Migos moments and songs. We then shift to a lighter but messier note with Drake, and his new album with 21 Savage, Her Loss. We ask if Drake was doing too much with all the shots on the album that was hurled at people like Serena Williams' husband, Megan Thee Stallion, Ice Spice and more. Plus we give our takes on the album itself and if we should expect a sad Drake with how he has been acting on the album. After that, we visit our old friend, Lil Pump and talk about his recent appearance on The Bootleg Kev Show. During the show, he was asked if J. Cole correctly predicted his career after his track "1985" which took shots on Pump throughout the song. We debate if Pump's career is over or if it's still worth saving. Another new month, another brand new episode of the podcast. Despite the technical difficulties and late post, Nick and Jared are here to give inputs on this episode and we kick things off with all things Kanye West and his rollercoaster of a week. We start with the timeline of everything that has happened to Kanye since the last episode with him being on HBO's The Shop and having that episode pulled to his controversial and damning appearance on N.O.R.E.'s Drink Champs interview (and later pulled off the Internet) to him losing over $600 million due to his remarks. We go through each point that has happened with him, give our thoughts and say if we are done with Kanye's BS antics and ask what does it take to finally not pay attention to him. Next, the ladies come out and are ready to fight as Nicki Minaj and Latto go head to head via Twitter due to Nicki's single "Super Freaky Girl" being nominated for the pop Grammy categories despite it being a rap song. Minaj took to Twitter and called out Latto's "Big Energy" single for being nominated and then the two slowly starting back and forth on the platform. We ask ourselves which female is in wrong for the whole spat and ask if there's a such thing as female unity in hip hop. After that, while speaking on the Grammy's, what do Drake, The Weeknd and Silk Sonic all have in common besides being artists? All three artists are starting to withdraw from the 2023 Grammy Awards due to reasons that we'll explain on the segment. We ask if their reasons are legit for bowing out of the ceremony and ask (again?) if hip hop needs the Grammy's or if they need hip hop. Late but back with another episode of the podcast! Nick and Jared hold things down and sadly kick things off with late breaking news on the sad passing of PnB Rock. Rock was sadly killed after being robbed at LA's famed Rosoce's Chicken & Waffles while dining with his girlfriend. As more on the story progresses, we give our shocking thoughts and feelings on the entire situation. We move on to a lighter note and talk about Joey Bada$$'s list of rappers turn actors. Social media did have some thoughts and let their opinions fly after Joey appeared on DJ Superstar Jay on Shade 45 to give out his list due to Joey becoming a rapper turned actor himself. Nick and Jared give their favorite rapper turned actors list while discussing Joey's list. Next up, after the sad passing of Queen Elizabeth II, Kanye West went on Instagram and told the world that he wants to end his beefs with Pete Davidson, Kid Cudi and Adidas GM Daniel Cherry. With all the olive branch being extended, we ask if Kanye is being genuine about killing his beefs, or if it's all one big publicity stunt. Next up, Joyner Lucas went on Hot 97's Funk Flex show and dropped a freestyle that left Flex in awe. After the dope freestyle, we ask if the freestyle is good enough to get Joyner back on track after a disappointing first album. After that, with all the arrests going on in hip hop today with rappers over their lyrics and having it used against them in court, The Breakfast Club's Charlamagne tha God says that rappers from the 90s are to blame for what's going on. After listening to what he said, the marauders ask themselves if he's right or wrong on rappers incriminating themselves for the crimes they are commiting. It's been a long time but we are BACK and have a brand new episode of the podcast for you! Nick and Jared hold things down and kick things off with 50 Cent. 50 was recently on a Houston radio station and commented on how today making a rap record is easy, since everyone in 2022 sounds the same, over the same beats and sounds, we ask each other if 50 is right and what rappers can do to make themselves sound different in today's landscape. Next up, Ms. Nicki Minaj gets honored at this year's VMAs (August 28) with the highest honor of winning the Video Vanguard Award and becoming the ninth female overall to win it. (Missy Elliot was last to win the honor in 2019.) While we briefly look back at her career, we ask if it's too soon for Nicki to win the award since of the marauders feels like it's too early for her to win that award. After that, Chance the Rapper appeared on NY's The Breakfast Club morning show to address what's next for him, and to talk about how he has "falling off" since dropping The Big Day to negative reviews from fans. The marauders ask not only if he did fall off with that album but what he can do to get his fanbase back. Later, The Game finally dropped his long awaited album Drillmatic to a 31 track rollout with featured everyone under the sun. The track that has people talking the most is his diss to Eminem on "The Black Slim Shady" which has a lot of people talking about it to mixed reviews. We give our opinions on the diss track and give our first impressions on Game's new album and ask if it was worth the wait. Back again with another new episode with Nick & Jared kick things by starting off with some New York beef with Conway the Machine venting his frustrations on NY DJ Funk(master) Flex on him not being able to play Conway's music and accuses him of gatekeeping. As the two keep trading shot via social media, we ask if Conway should care about his music being played on the radio or if he should stick to streaming services and the mixtape world. Next up, one of the greatest ever, Jay Z, made a surprise appearance on Kevin Hart's new show Heart to Hart (Peacock) and tells the host that as of now, he not retired from music but he has no plans to make music. We ask the question on if it's time to Jay to hang it up and also giving our predictions on when he should drop his next album. After that, T Pain appears on DJ Akademiks Twitch channel to talk about the late great Tupac Shakur. During the show, Tallahassee Pain said that Tupac would have been "ate the f--k up (PAUSE!) due to the lyrics that we hear today" if he survived his fatal 1996 shooting in Vegas. We give our opinions on what Pac would be doing from 1997 to today and if he would be more interested in movies or music in 2022.
