Low Frequency

For the first guest mix of 2018 I have a great DJ for you. Israel Toledo was happy to deliver a second amazing set. Israel Toledo is the founder of Assassin Soldier Recordings, a Mexican/German Techno Label. He released tracks on Assassin Soldier Recordings, Tresor and MB Electronics, to name a few. Israel Toledo is living in Germany now, and toured around the world to play in great clubs and festivals like Tresor, Doorn Roosje in Nijmegen, Specka Club in Madrid, Decadance Club and Ambush Festival in Belgium, and many other countries.

Within the next hour you will hear a snippet from a set Israel Toledo played last December in Frankfurt. Have fun with this one.

When I search for new tracks I always find tracks that are different than the techno tracks I normally use within my sets. And then, after some time, I feel the need to use them in a different kind of set. For this episode, I thought it was the time to create such a set again. Tracks are more melodic, and have a different kind of vibe. I had a lot of fun mixing this one. i hope you will feel that vibe as well.

This week The Diep is in charge of the music. The Diep is a techno/producer duo from Amsterdam. Around the year 2000 they played lots of parties in the Netherlands alongside Cristian Varela and Joel Mull.

It went a bit quiet, but in 2016 they made a revival. They release their own tracks and get support from Estroe and Truncate.
