A memo went out in Lowell's department of education, urging all sports teams to refrain from using the moniker of the "Red Raider" mascot in relation to any Lowell High athletics. The school's nickname will still be the "Red Raiders", they just want to refrain from using the logo in any way...should they or should they just leave it alone? Is there anything wrong with "Red Raiders" as a nickname or their mascot for that matter? We discuss.
