In 2022, they released their highly-anticipated self-titled debut album and since have toured with and played alongside the likes of Courtney Marie Andrews, Flyte and The Staves.
In May this year, they released their second album, via Real Kind Records, Redsetter. It is a remarkable, intimate and vulnerable, powerful yet delicate record that was a joy to discuss with Jack and Olly.

On this episode, Lauren is joined by the brilliant Eaglemont, the jangle rock project of Melbourne’s Bridg Jessop.
After launching the project in 2018, Eaglemont has quickly made a name for herself in the Australian music scene, demonstrating an impressive ability to combine clever wit and genuine heart within her lyrics, encased within a perfectly cool, distortion-heavy sound.
In August this year, she released her brilliant debut album 'Party Boy'. Produced by Jonathon Tooke (Cry Club) and mixed by Oscar Dawson (Holy Holy), Eaglemont lays themselves bare across all twelve tracks on the record.

In this episode, Lauren chats with the incredibly talented Pat Pierce from the Pierce Brothers. For years, the twin duo of Jack and Pat has been electrifying the Australian indie-folk and blues & roots scene with their high-energy performances. They made waves globally in 2014, starting out as buskers on Melbourne’s Bourke Street before their breakout EP, The Night Tree.
Since then, they’ve been on a non-stop journey, charming audiences and selling out shows worldwide, all while supporting wonderful musicians such as The Cat Empire, Tones and I, and Tash Sultana.
This March, Jack and Pat dropped their latest album, Everything Is Bigger Than Me, recorded in Jack’s home studio. The album brims with infectious choruses, warm harmonies, and rhythms that’ll have you tapping your feet.

In 2018 Darryl released his debut album ‘Making Strangers’. 6 years and 4 albums later, in February this year, he released his wonderful 5th studio album 'Dusk'.

On this episode, Lauren is joined by the supertalented Norwegian singer-songwriter Sverre Breivik aka Metteson.
Born and raised in Moss, a small coastal town 30 miles south of Oslo, Metteson studied acting at Oslo National Academy of the Arts before realising his true gift for songwriting.
Known for his electrifying live shows, a blend of pop star dynamism and theatrical grandeur, he has already sold out multiple venues around the world, touring alongside many wonderful artists including Aurora and Sigrid.
In February this year Metteson released his debut album- ‘Look To A Star’- a beautifully expressive and dynamic 13 track record.
Together they discuss each song off the album, having such an open, honest and inspiring chat along the way.

On this episode, Lauren is joined by the lovely Nashville-based singer-songwriter Caroline Glaser aka Brother Bird.
In March this year she released her 2nd album, another year via Easy Does It Records. The album follows her 2018 self-titled EP and the debut of her 2021 full-length album, gardens, both produced by her close friends, Andy Hull and Robert McDowell of Manchester Orchestra.
another year is Brother Bird's most soul-stirring collection yet. The album, co-produced and written by Caroline, while working with producer Owen Lewis, floats through challenging times, struggling with the big questions that face humanity and how we navigate our most intimate relationships.

As a trailblazer, Kristoffer has shaped the Norwegian music landscape with his unique fusion of cultural roots and avant-garde exploration, earning recognition both locally and internationally. He is affiliated with several notable bands, including Sunswitch and Highasakite.
Kristoffer joins Lauren to chat about his new band ‘Slowshift’ and their debut album ‘world going one way’. The band consists of Kristoffer Lo, Brynjar Leifsson (Of Monsters and Men), Tomas Järmyr, and Trondheimsoloists (16 piece string orchestra).
In January this year, the band released their debut album ‘world going one way’ via Amuse Records. The album is testament to their dexterity to take risks while pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in music.

On this episode, Lauren is joined by the wonderful singer-songwriter, poet and fashion designer, Chase Cohl aka Dear Dear.
Chase was introduced to music from a young age, spending much of her youth on the road with the Rolling Stones themselves.
In 2018 she released her debut record 'Far Away and Gone'. After the release of her 2021 Dear Dear: Volume I EP. it became clear that this project was taking on a life of its own. This led to Chase shifting the entire project into the enigma of Dear Dear.
As a result, in October last year, she released her debut Dear Dear album 'Death of a Fairytale'. The wonderful 8 track record is co-produced by Loren Humphrey and co-written by Barry Goldberg (Bob Dylan, Ray Charles, Gladys Knight).
The record plays with a neo-soul, motown sound, heavily influenced by the girl groups of the 1960s, yet is approached with a modern sensibility.
Chase chats through the album track by track giving an insight intro the writing and recording process.

On this episode, Lauren is joined by the super talented English singer, songwriters Will Taylor and Nick Hill, who, together are the band Flyte.
The pair met at secondary school, eventually settling in Hackney, London.
In 2017 they released their debut album 'The Loved Ones' followed in 2021 by their second album 'This Is Really Going To Hurt'. After the release of two critically acclaimed albums, they have established themselves as an influential mainstay.
After extensive touring across Europe and North America, Flyte teamed back up with Andrew Sarlo (who they worked with on their 2nd record), this time at London's famous Konk Studios, to record their most confident and collaborative work to date.
In October 2023, they released their third, self-titled album, a beautiful record exploring love in all its early forms.
Will and Nick chat through the record track by track, discussing the recording process as well as the host of friends and collaborators involved including Laura Marling, Billie Marten and Jessica Staveley-Taylor.
