Sam Bushman welcomes Sheriff Richard Mack, founder of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association (CSPOA) and author of From My Cold Dead Fingers and The County Sheriff: America's Last Hope, to preview his bold new book The Democrat Murder of America: Demagoguery in the First Degree, co-authored with Daniel Perkins. Sheriff Mack walks through the Democrat Party's origins, dating back to 1828, documenting their role in slavery, the founding of the KKK, Jim Crow laws, poll taxes, and systematic suppression of Black voters. He contrasts this with the Republican Party's defense of Black citizens and Abraham Lincoln's push to end slavery, a fight that may have cost Lincoln his life. The conversation turns to how the party has only gotten worse over time, now earning the label "party of death" for its support of abortion, partial birth abortion, and taxpayer funding of Planned Parenthood.

Sam and Sheriff Mack then break down the term demagoguery in detail, explaining how it functions as a deliberate political strategy built on emotional manipulation, fear, scapegoating, and misinformation rather than rational argument. The discussion covers how Democrats have weaponized the word "democracy" itself to undermine the constitutional, republican form of government America was founded on, using it as a cover to ignore the law, push gun confiscation, and consolidate power.

The episode also dives into the book's "Democrat Insanity" chapter, covering the push for transgender athletes in women's sports, gender mutilation of minors, California schools hiding hormone treatments from parents, and the all-out assault on parental rights. Sheriff Mack connects this to the Democrat promotion of open borders, human trafficking, and families being forced to sell children to cartels to pay for illegal entry into the country.
