In this teaching, he examines the persecution Paul experienced after becoming a believer in Jesus and leaving the corrupt leadership of Israel. Paul was persecuted for two reasons: teaching that Jesus was the Messiah or Christ, and teaching that righteousness is by grace through faith apart from the works of the law.
