Elka Whalan is a champion Australian swimmer, having represented Australia and medalled at the Olympics, Commonwealth Games and World Championships.  Now married with three kids, Elka continues to shine in the media and as a speaker.  A beacon of positivity and inclusiveness, she’s not far from launching “Queenhood – For the Woman Who Knows Her Worth”, determined to see women positively encourage and enrich each other’s lives.  In her spare time, Elka is an ambassador for the upcoming National Day of Thanks and we couldn’t think of a better person for the role.  Even having a shocking moment of losing a gold medal and world record in one, spontaneous moment doesn’t steal her smile.  She embodies life and hope and joy and, at the source of it all, lies gratitude.
