In this episode, Lindsey and Tiffany are discussing some interesting cover-up cases (not to be confused with what is worn over a bathing suit to the beach or a pool). Lindsey wraps up this episode with the maddening cover-up of Mary Han, a lawyer who fought against the Albuquerque Police Department. All in all, we think police reform is necessary! Additionally, Lindsey apologizes for using the term ‘committed suicide’ since the recording of this episode she has gained insight on those words and now knows it should be referred to as ‘death by suicide’. In this fantastically frustrating shot episode, Lindsey and Tiffany discuss the controversial drafting of Logan Mailloux by the Montreal Canadiens; No, we didn't just become a hockey podcast. The controversy surrounding Mailloux comes from his admission and charges of sexual misconduct, which led him to making a public statement asking not to be drafted, as he needed more time to mature as an individual. The Montreal Canadiens decided to disregard his wishes and draft him anyways, which they followed with a statement that they did not intend to minimize his actions or disregard his victim (sure). Of course, the girls dig right into the details, and discuss all that is wrong with this situation. In this episode, Lindsey and Tiffany cover a very broad topic this week as they focus on ocean stories/cases. Lindsey starts us off with the mysterious story surrounding the Eilean Mor Lighthouse featuring strange large birds and ‘little people’ with magic according to the locals. Tiffany concludes this episode with a more harrowing tale of the unsolved Wanda Beach murders. While the case remains unsolved, Tiffany dives into a few theorized suspects to keep our eyes on which we always love discussing.
