Would it have been better if there were nothing at all, rather than a Universe where good and bad are inseparably bound? Existence carries within it both joy and suffering, creation and destruction, meaning and despair. To ask whether the Universe has value allows us to ponder whether the very structure of duality, of opposites balancing and defining each other, is itself worth enduring. Perhaps the absence of both might be purer, freer, even better than a reality where every good is entangled with its opposite. In this episode, we explore whether something is inherently superior to nothing, or whether nothingness itself is the only true escape from suffering.
