How many laws truly govern the Universe? Is their number finite or infinite? Do these laws exist as real, independent principles, or are they simply patterns we impose on nature? And if they do exist, is it even meaningful to ask whether we can count them? We explore the mystery of whether the Universe is built upon a set of ultimate laws, and what it would mean if those laws are limited, limitless, or perhaps illusory altogether.
