Monument Valley, and the sequel Monument Valley 2, are a pair of very unique isometric puzzle games by indie developer Ustwo Games. Originally published for mobile devices, the games have been recently updated for the PC in special panoramic versions, and this week we downloaded both titles and tried them out.

This week we present the second in our series of theme park reviews as we talk about EPCOT, located at Walt Disney World in Florida. The park opened in 1982, and in 2019 hosted over 12.4 million guests.

The park has an "edutainment" feel, with rides and cultural attractions for all ages. We visited the park in the spring of 2022, and offer a few of our thoughts about the various rides and attractions.

Castle in the Stars, a graphic novel by French author and illustrator Alex Alice, has an alternate history/steampunk vibe akin to the Kenneth Oppel's book Airborn, and the Hayao Miyazaki anime Castle in the Sky.

The year is 1869, and our hero Seraphin and his father are summoned to a castle in Bavaria to help a young king build an airship that will launch them to the stars. Can they build this fantastical vehicle amidst the intrigue of warring duchies who each want to rule the empire?

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is the second full movie starring Benedict Cumberbatch as the titular Doctor Stephen Strange. The movie serves as an introduction to a new character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, America Chavez (played by Xochitl Gomez), a teenager with the ability to jump between dimensions. Can Doctor Strange save her before her powers are stolen by a mysterious villain?

This week, Evan and Brian discuss their general non-spoiler thoughts about the movie during the main portion of the podcast, followed by a more in-depth spoiler filled discussion that can be found after the closing music.

Spot it! is a fun, ultra-portable matching game the entire family will enjoy. The idea is simple - match one of the eight pictures on your card to one of the eight pictures on another card. When you find a match, grab the card. But watch out, because your opponents are also trying to find a match, and whoever makes a match first gets the card. Gameplay is fast and furious, and is loads of fun.

The film CODA, written and directed by Sian Heder, was released at the Sundance film festival in 2021, and was purchased for distribution by Apple TV. The movie is set on the coast of Massachusetts, and tells the story of Ruby, a 17 year old high school student who is the only hearing member of her family; her mother, father, and brother are all deaf. Ruby spends her mornings helping with the family business, fishing, but longs for a time when she can escape to follow her passion, singing.

The film stars Emilia Jones as Ruby, Marlee Matlin and Troy Kotsur as her parents Jackie and Frank, Daniel Durant as Leo, Ruby’s brother, and Eugenio Derbez as the choir director Mr. V.

CODA won numerous awards, including Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor for Troy Kostur, and Best adapted screenplay.

Marvel's Moon Knight is a television series available on Disney+. The 6 episode show tells the story of Marc Spector and Steven Grant, two personalities of a man dealing with dissociative identity disorder. Oh, and they are also the superhero avatar of the ancient Egyptian moon god Khonshu.
