Mr. Shujaat Ali is among the pioneers of animated political cartoon. He is well known and most modern political/editorial cartoonist among his contemporary practitioners, both domestically in Pakistan and abroad. He has received recognition and awards as best editorial cartoonist from the beginning of his career in 1992. He is the first teacher of political cartooning in Pakistan as well as seeking opportunities to teach this new style to others. I had the opportunity to take his two week first ever Cartoon workshop at Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA). And it was wonderful. He is a humble gentleman. You would definitely enjoy his polite demeanor and unique talent.

Meet my very young guest, Rahman Fatima who is full of confidence and aspires to be become a doctor to help others.

She is an example of breaking all kinds of stereotypes against girls in Pakistan. She is supported by her parents, uncles and family to ride a motor cycle to her school. She is not oppressed in any way. You can watch or listen to her and find out for yourself.

Saleem Akhtar Gurnami graduated in Urdu Adab and Iqbaliyat from Islamia University of Bahawalpur. He was always active and participated in the poetic gatherings of Urdu, Punjabi and Saraiki languages. His work has been published in College magazines and well known newspapers of Pakistan.

Mr. Gurmani has appeared and recited his work on the radio and television programs since 20 years. In addition to his numerous accomplishments, he has participated in various cities of Pakistan in National and International poetic gatherings and programs.

Mr. Gurmani has compiled two books on Iqbaliyat and has his work published in poetic anthologies. He is a well read and knowledgeable person overall and especially in his field of study. Mr. Gurmani associated with a unique voice which can be identified in his work. Currently, he is active in publishing a monthly magazine.
