Adam Too Strong, also known as Adam Foster, transformed from a shy kid to a viral fitness star. He struggled with weight issues as a child and developed low self-esteem. By his mid-teens, Adam started monitoring his diet and exercising, initially aiming to lose weight but found himself too skinny. He began weightlifting at age 16, first at home and then in the gym. At 20, he weighed his heaviest at 219 pounds and lacked the muscle he has today.

So I guess back in June I decided that I wanted to do something more uh the job i had which was a manager at a dessert restaurant decided i wanted to do more so we decided to contact slater to see if he would actually franchise or license and we got down there on a meeting and he decided he wanted to sell the whole thing to us so he said okay we'll do that and uh Here we are I guess 6 months later We got a location in Little Rock a location opening in Jonesboro very shortly and the original location in Searcy 

And I also moved the food truck around all over northeast Arkansas I'll be going to Memphis next month And then you know in the summertime we hit up all the festivals all around the state and try to do what we can Okay So what's in particular about this company that impressed you So really it's the food the atmosphere they have Whenever you go into Searcy it's kind of more of like a nostalgic nineties like alaskan middle of the wilderness cabin you know you could see all the the unique mugs from all over alaska um the magnets from where people have traveled uh just whole inside and the whole um the whole design of the place that was just a like a ten years of Slater who's the original owner just building it you know trip by trip whenever he went to Alaska um he's from there so he'd go back there and just the way it looked how niche it was um

So pelmeni and pierogi dumplings are They originated out of Russia and Poland kind of Eastern European and they kind of made their way over to Alaska We're called Slater's Alaskan Dumplings and the Alaskan is the style that came from Alaska which is butter signature sauce which is sriracha and rice vinegar mix Sounds really weird but put together it's really good because I don't like either 2 of those things but I can eat hundreds of these dumplings every day You've got our special curry blend You've got cilantro and sour cream to dip it in You get a slice of rye bread to soak up all the juices and eat it afterwards

Music also did not define me It was just an outlet for me to be creative because I've always been so creative and entrepreneurial

 And so after that I figured out that what's really important to me is to have control over my finances over my emotions and over my career And um I was intrigued by the beauty industry because I always thought like makeup artists and hairstyles It's so fun for them because every time a client leaves an appointment with them they feel so good 

And um so that's when I got into spray tanning and throughout that experience I realized that I was making women feel so beautiful in their most vulnerable moments because there's nothing more vulnerable than just meeting me and getting butt naked Beautiful And it was really cool because I'm able to now through what I'm doing it's put women in a situation where they're vulnerable feel good which was the opposite of I felt as I felt so vulnerable and I was made to feel so small and not safe So it's um I know people love spray tans and that's fun and all but for me it's so much

 My goal is to keep people moving and performing in life. If challenges are encountered, I help them manage the road bumps with science-based, fun, and sustainable ways to restore and maintain function. I treat patients for their future selves. 

I have been a lifelong athlete, which began with trying everything I could as a little girl growing up in Zurich, Switzerland. From skiing to gym and track, if it was sports related, I was in all the way. I even thought ballet would be fun, until I was “fired” because I was “too athletic”… Oh, well. The skateboard team needed people, and I went on to join! They didn’t care I was the only girl. I also had the coolest board and wheels in Switzerland, as my dad would buy them in the United States – no less in Santa Cruz – in the same state where I live today.

Making a Splash

My real sports love affair started when a pool was built in my hometown, and I became a swimmer. My love for the water and sporting competition has not gone away since then, as I compete in Masters Swimming. I did “retire” from skateboarding in my 40s after I taught my kids how to do it – (and purposely never teaching them a handstand going downhill, like I had done when I was their age!) However, I still rock my skis on the slopes to this day.

Redd The Singing Bartender, has become a local icon with signature curly red hair and a spicy personality. Redd bartends while singing from a request list of over 400 songs – picked from patrons tips. She does not claim to know all of them by heart but can come close to most. Anyone that has visited Redd’s knows about the “costume closet” containing hats, wigs, and dress up items, all put to good use for photo opportunities. reddspub.com

Redd’s Bar has become a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike, with its laid-back atmosphere, good food, all made to order from scratch, regular live music, and friendly staff. The venue has launched many local artists and has had Nashville favorites drop in for a jam or two. The eclectic menu has transformed this once “secret bar” into a “must visit” landmark  

“I wanted to open a place that felt a little bit like home,” said Redd, owner, and The Singing Bartender. Honestly, that’s due to the wonderful guests, some of whom plan their annual vacation around visiting Redds. “This is incredible.  

Autographed items adorn the walls at Redd’s, from Sting to David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, and Joe Montana, alongside full-size stand-ups of Elvis, Elton John, and Roy Orbison. It seems like there is something new to see every visit. The party promises to be a fun-filled evening with live music, delicious food, and drinks. As always, reservations for four or more diners are strongly recommended.
