We've looked at what Jesus says about Gehenna, or a place used as an example of the ongoing torment for those who reject Christ, and now we'll see what Jesus means by his use of the word salt. He uses it in several different ways and they all point to the refining process God offers to those who accept him, since he will "salt us with trials," that refine and equip us to be flavorful in our world.
