November 20, 2022Gradual Sight - Mark 8:22-26Jesus continues to teach the disciples (and us) by following up on a lesson in a riddle related to the feeding of the 4,000. They still didn't see clearly what Jesus patiently taught them, including lessons through his miracles. He then taught them about how spiritual sight is sometimes gradual, and they wouldn't "get it" until after Jesus' own resurrection, but Jesus laid the groundwork by repeated teachings and miracles so that the lessons would sink in deeply once his work on the cross had been accomplished.
