We Are Sunderland bring you an exclusive interview with former Sunderland star Lynden Gooch prior to his return to the Stadium of Light last month.

Matty Hewitt sat down with the Black Cats academy graduate to look back his time at the club, travelling over from California at just 10-years-old, to making his way through the Academy of Light set-up.

Gooch saw it all, good and bad, during his time at the club, but ended his tenure on a high after promotion back to the Championship.
