What does a dead or dying church look like? While many of us would have an opinion, what Jesus discribed in the Church at Sardis wouldn't fit our picture. They looked alive on the outside,but were dead inside. As we seek to see what type of church that we are, and more importantly what type of believer we are, we have to ask the question, "Do I belong to this Church?" In this sermon we see three ways to keep from being part of a sleeping church; it takes commitment, it takes communion, and it takes concentration.

Fathers are an important part of our society, and the sad thing is that many of our youth today are growing up without that influence in their lives. Compromise is one of the quickest ways to tear down any walls of faith, and that is exactly what Satan has always sought to do to the Christian. He wants to make us bend under his will instead of the will of God, In this sermon we take a look at the Church at Pergamum and how that Jesus noted their dedication, their division and then their direction.

What side of the crowd would you have stood on if you were alive during the days of Christ? We would like to think that we would be one of those that would have laid down our lives for Him, but the truth is that many of us get bent out of shape if someone even makes fun of us for our stance on little things in our culture. In America we are guarded, we don't see what a lot of the world see's, but the time may come when we have to stand and face death for our faith, for many it is a way of everyday life.

Our Memorial Day Sermon, as we celebrate those that have laid down their lives for our freedom let us be reminded of the price that they paid. In this sermon we look at the sacrifice of the soldier, the saint and the Savior.

Faith and doubt are a lot alike, they both cause us to trust in something that we can't see. In the Christian walk there is sometimes a lot of time between the promise and the possession, the question is do we have enough faith to stay the course in the difficult times. Mothers today face a daunting task, many are filling the

roll of both mother and father. Others are just simply struggling to understand

where they fit in God's design for womanhood. Make no mistake about it godly women are important and

needed more now than ever in our world. We need these women to stand up and to

stand out among the crowd. In this Mother's Day Sermon from Titus 2:3-5 we see that Godly women can impact their husbands, their children and others. Are you a Godly woman, does the impact you have prove it?

When two children fight over something it is understandable, we know that kids are selfish, but when it's adults it's not so understandable. The truth is that selfishness is not something that most people grow out of. For the church at Ephesus this was a problem that haunted them. In this sermon we begin our journey though the Seven Churches of Revelation that were located in Asia Minor. We see that the Church at Ephesus had a successful start and many characteristics that were commendable, but somewhere along the way there was a slow decline. Like many churches and more specifically believers today they found themselves simply going through the motions and lacking the love for God. This brought a stern warning from God, one that we all need to hear. The question needs to be asked of every person, is Jesus the most important person in your life? If not then something needs to change before He returns.
