  • Fantasy vs Reality? Which player rating system works: AFL Fantasy, SuperCoach, AFL Player Ratings, or none of the above?
Player ratings systems are useful way to assess and compare a player's performance in match. Even if I haven't seen a game, I can tell who was very involved in play, and get some indication of how they were involved.
In this episode we take a look at these player rating systems for indicators of success, the relationship to the other systems, and how these systems can be used to access real player performance.

We know that they got two first round picks in return, so instead of waiting years to see this play out, we decided to look ahead, by first looking backwards. In this episode, we take a look at all of the trades since 2000 that have involved 2 first round picks being trading to one team. Dom Tyson + Pick 9 for Pick 2? Chris Judd for Josh J Kennedy and Pick 3? Let's take a look at some of the trends, and what we might expect from the Carlton trade.
