  • Live Trading Mock Draft Special with Draft Central - Rounds 1 & 2
It's the famous annual Live Trading Mock Draft. We've been waiting for this special episode of the podcast for some time now, and we'd first of all like to thanks the draft gurus from Draft Central. This is no ordinary mock draft - in this we will assume the roles of the different clubs, and with live trading and academy selections, it gets awesome very quickly. This is much more like an alternative reality of the night, with situations evolving quickly as clubs can trade up and down the order.

  • Mock 2019 AFL Draft Rounds 1 & 2 - Why Rowell shouldn't go at Pick 1
It's reached our favourite time of year. Teams are changing, they've already changed a lot during the trade and free agency period, but they're about to have their biggest change, and that happens when they go to the draft (maybe except the Saints who have made massive changes already).
In this episode, we take a look at the 2019 AFL Draft pool and mock draft players to clubs where they could be a good fit. N.B that this isn't a power rankings of simply the best players in order, but an assessment of which players may actually go to each of the 18 clubs. It's a fun and long episode so strap yourselves in.

  • Richmond Tigers 2019 List - Hunters. Hunted. Hunters. Hunted?
The Tigers have done it again, and in some serious style this time. Congrats to all Tigers fans, it's time to celebrate (but don't get all in John's twitter feed about it). Like the Cats of 07-11, the Tigers seem to thrive on having someone/something to chase, and to climb the mountain again in 2020 they'll need to be more alert than ever.
In this podcast, our last list review for 2019, we take a look at the Tigers list structure, and what they should be doing at the draft to ensure they're well placed for 2020 and beyond.

  • GWS Giants List 2019 - Another Giant step required
The Greater Western Sydney Giants made there first ever Grand Final in 2019, and while that would make it their most successful season ever, they failed to make the top 4 at the end of the home and away season and were well and truly accounted for at the big dance.
The Giants are still as well positioned as ever to go one step further in 2020. In this episode, we take a look at the Giants' list build and drafting options, as well what they'll be hoping for in 2020.

  • 2020 AFL Draft Part 2 - Mock Draft / is this the most compromised draft ever?
We've been talking about it for a while, and we finally got our act together and recorded our two-part 2020 draft podcast feature. In part 1, we looked at some early favourites for the top 25 in the 2020 pool. In Part 2 we find out if this the most compromised draft ever. This episode has it all. We run the numbers on other draft years, we run a mock draft to understand how it could play out in reality, Sean compares footballers to crumpets, it's a rollercoaster ride of emotion that really needs to be heard to be believed.

  • 2020 AFL Draft Part 1 - Early Top 25 Prospect Rankings
We've been talking about it for a while, and we finally got our act together and recorded our two-part 2020 draft podcast feature. In part 1, we take a look at the pool, and discuss 25 of the players that could be amongst the best in the 2020 pool. This far out we aren't exacting a high level of accuracy, but this is part of the broader thought exercise that we will carry out in Part 2, where we find out if this the most compromised draft ever.

  • Geelong Cats List 2019 - Eight lives down, one to go
The Cats finished on top of the ladder, an amazing effort for a club that was being written off by most of the main stream media coming into the year. The problem is, it's been eight years since they won that 2011 flag, and the regular players at the Cats are all ageing. A few will retire after 2020, more in 2021. The Cats are running out of time, and we take a look at what they've done, and what they can do to ensure they have one big final push.
We also take a look at the Cats' list build, contracts, free agency, trade and drafting options, as well as who might need to move off the list to make room.

  • Collingwood Magpies List 2019 - 3 big Magpies, which 1 will leave the nest?
It was a good year for the Collingwood Magpies. They were able to sit around the top 4 for most of the season and scrape in when it counted, but still lost the close one when it mattered the most. The Pies need to take the next step, and we look at some ways they might be able to do so.
We also take a look at the Pies' list build, contracts, free agency, trade and drafting options, as well as who might need to move off the list to make room.
