Apple silicon is finally here and it's called M1. The first chipset looks like an A14, if you added a couple extra Firestorm CPU cores and 3 or 4 extra GPU cores, and some specific Mac tuning and IP like hypervisor acceleration and Thunderbolt controllers. So, basically an A14X for the lightest of Macs — the new MacBook Air, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac mini.
I turned on Apple's event, hit record on the camera, and here are my live reactions and thoughts on the M1 architecture and potential from the November 2020 One More Thing Event!
