When you flip an investment property you will receive income from this property if you do it in your personal name that could push you up to the 45% tax bracket. Sometimes it is the best thing to do depending on your personal situation. So know what you are doing before you jump into the transaction.

October 26, 2020 Do Not Buy a Property in Your Personal Name (Property Investment For Beginners)
I learnt so much the hard way when I started out in property. The thing about property is that it is a slow process and one wrong decision can be with you for years. I bought 5 properties in my personal name and ended up paying so much tax on it, due to me also still being employed. I also couldn't move it to a company due to my personal affordability being overextended at the time.
Know what to do before you buy an investment property and make sure you are happy with your decisions for years to come.

In South Africa, like in most countries, death and taxes go together in the form of inheritance taxes. These are taxes that the deceased estate has to pay, in addition to the personal tax of the deceased for their final tax year.
The personal tax is levied on the income the deceased received before their death, during the course of the tax year, whereas the inheritance taxes are levied on what they leave behind in their Will.
