Chris Duncan is a partner at Farmer Woods Group. Chris began his time at Farmer Woods Group in 2011 after 5 years in the commercial construction industry building single tenant retail buildings and mid sized tenant improvement projects.

A fourth generation Phoenician, Chris attended Mountain Pointe High School, prior to graduating from Arizona State University in 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management from the Del E. Webb School of Construction where he was a member of the ASU Track and Field team and the president of the local chapter of Delta Tau Delta fraternity.

Since beginning his career in insurance, he has received many accolades for his commitment excellence around product knowledge and professionalism in the industry. Chris is dedicated to furthering his education to bring the best possible solutions to his clients.

Apart from a full-time career in insurance Chris is committed to give back to his local community as an active Executive Council, raising funds for local children’s charities and a board of directors’ President for Arizona Centers for Comprehensive Education and Life Skills (Accel).

Professionally, Chris takes pride in his approach to managing client’s personal and professional exposure to risk. He becomes an integral part of the team and looks out for the best interests of his clients always.

Founding Partner + Jason Barclay Morris is a graduate of the University of Arizona, College of Law, and a founding partner at the law firm of Withey Morris Baugh, PLC. His past experience includes work as a congressional staff member, and as partner with the Land Use Section for a major Phoenix law firm.

Mr. Morris’s practice is exclusively in land use, planning and zoning and government relations in Arizona, as well as the Southwest region. His client list includes significant development in every asset class and representation in some of the state’s most high-profile land use cases. His clientele includes national homebuilders, multi-family developers, master plan developers, landowners, family offices and Fortune 100 companies. Mr. Morris has also successfully litigated land use cases on behalf of property owners against Arizona municipalities.

He served as Chair of the City of Phoenix License Appeals Board and was the District 3 representative to the Maricopa County Transportation Advisory Board. He was also appointed by the Mayor to serve on the City of Phoenix Development Advisory Board. Mr. Morris was past-chair of Valley Partnership’s State Legislative Committee. In that capacity, he worked extensively on the Growing Smarter Legislation as well as opposing the Citizen’s Growth Management Initiative. He also served as an Ad Hoc Committee-member advising on the combination of the Planning & Development Services Departments at the City of Phoenix. Jason’s other honors include recognition as an outstanding community leader by the Phoenix Business Journal’s “40 under 40” Issue, and he was honored as one of the “Best of the Bar” by the Arizona Business Journal.

Mr. Morris is currently on the Board of Trustees for The University of Denver Sturm College of Law Rocky Mountain Land Use Institute. Additional outside boards and activities include Valley Leadership, Urban Land Institute, ASU Real Estate Council, and the Arizona Town Hall. He also served as President of the Arizona Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs and is a member of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation Board of Trustees.

With 25 years of experience in federal, state, local and non-profit leadership, Sintra is a natural convener, bringing key stakeholders together to advance the region's economic vitality and improve the quality of life for her community. Alan is the founder and CEO of Mobile Loaves & Fishes (MLF), a social outreach ministry that provides food and clothing, cultivates community and promotes dignity to homeless men and women in need. Previously a real estate investor and developer, Alan founded Trilogy Development and the Lynxs Group, which developed Austin’s airport cargo facility and similar facilities at airports around the country.

In 1998, the seed for the idea of Mobile Loaves & Fishes had been placed on Alan’s heart. He and four friends boldly answered God’s call to “love your neighbor” by delivering meals to homeless men and women from the back of a green minivan. Alan readily admits that the group’s original approach for serving the homeless had some flaws, but with the help of a formerly homeless man, Houston Flake, they perfected the model that Mobile Loaves & Fishes successfully uses today. Since its founding, MLF volunteers have served more than 5 million meals with a side of hope to homeless men and women living on the streets of Austin, and the organization has spawned similar food truck ministries in other cities across the U.S.

Alan also is the lead visionary behind MLF’s Community First! Village—a 51-acre master planned development in northeast Austin that provides affordable, permanent housing and a supportive community for men and women coming out of chronic homelessness.

Alan and his wife, Tricia, were married in September 1984 and have four children of their own, as well as a niece they’ve been blessed to raise and include in their family. Alan is a published author of the book Welcome Homeless: One Man’s Journey of Discovering the Meaning of Home. He also is the host of the Gospel Con Carne podcast, which explores the woundedness of society through untold stories of individuals who have encountered homelessness.

James Smith has over 25 years of municipal government experience, primarily in business/economic development. 

He assumed the role of Economic and Workforce Development Director for Pinal County in November 2021, leading the County’s efforts to attract capital investment and jobs to the region, while also seeking to help ensure the workforce is prepared for the jobs of the future. 

Prior to his position with Pinal County, he served as the Economic Development Director for the Town of Fountain Hills, AZ. 

Previous experience also includes over 12 years with the City of Chandler, where he worked to assist in locating or the expansion of a number of major corporations, including several Fortune 500 companies. 

He holds Bachelor’s (Economics) and Master’s degrees – both from San Jose State University.  A graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute (OUEDI), he is recognized as a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD).  In addition, he has achieved the Certified Public Manager (CPM) designation through ASU.

Heath Melton is President of the Phoenix Region at The Howard Hughes Corporation, overseeing the development of Teravalis, HHC’s new 37,000-acre master planned community located in Phoenix’s West Valley.

Melton is a senior leader who has been with the company since 2015. In his previous role as Executive Vice President of Master Planned Communities in the Houston Region, Mr. Melton was responsible for residential planning and development of HHC’s three highly acclaimed MPCs in Texas: The Woodlands, Bridgeland and The Woodlands Hills.

Prior to joining The Howard Hughes Corporation, Mr. Melton was Director of Land Development at Taylor Morrison Austin. He previously served as Development Manager for Sueba USA, overseeing their single- and multi-family residential business.

Mr. Melton is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, earning a Bachelor of Science in business management and systems engineering. He served in the U.S. Army as a field artillery officer for five years, earning an Army Commendation Medal with Valor Device and Bronze Star.
