On this episode of Hometown Macabre: A Dark History Podcast, Halley and Blaire dive into one of history's most haunting mysteries: the disappearance of the Roanoke Island colony. In 1590, over 100 settlers vanished without a trace, leaving behind a single cryptic clue: the word "Croatoan" carved into a wooden post. Was it starvation, disease, a violent clash with the local tribes, or something even more sinister?

Join the ladies of Macabre as they discuss the theories, legends, and the connections that keep this centuries-old mystery alive.
