We were blessed to welcome Caleb Speer as our guest speaker for our annual Youth for God Weekend. In this lesson, Caleb opens God's Word to Ephesians 1–2, reminding us that we were made for more than simply existing—we were created in Christ for His purpose and His glory. Caleb challenges our teens (and all of us) to find our identity in Jesus, embrace God's mission, and live out the good works He has prepared for us.
Before this lesson, Caleb spent time getting to know our teens through games, conversations, and fellowship, making this weekend a meaningful time of encouragement, growth, and spiritual connection.

In this Sunday evening lesson, guest speaker Lance Ward shares a personal and practical message from Luke 10:25–37, examining the Parable of the Good Samaritan. Rather than simply retelling the story, Lance challenges us to honestly evaluate our own hearts and consider whether we show Christlike compassion—not only to fellow Christians, but also to the world around us.

How should Christians respond when they disagree over matters that God has not explicitly addressed?
In Romans 14, Paul teaches believers how to navigate differences in personal convictions without allowing those differences to damage fellowship. This passage reminds us that not every disagreement is a matter of salvation, and that our responsibility is to love one another, avoid unnecessary judgment, and pursue peace within God's family.

Romans 9 is one of the most challenging chapters in the New Testament—but it is also one of the most important.
In this lesson, we explore Paul's teaching on God's sovereignty, Israel's special role in God's plan, and the relationship between God's choices and human faith. Far from teaching that God arbitrarily saves some and condemns others, Romans 9 reveals a God who faithfully carries out His redemptive plan through history while extending mercy to all who believe.
In this study, you'll learn:
• Why Paul grieved for his fellow Israelites
• What Israel's special privileges were and why they mattered
• The difference between God's choice of a covenant lineage and personal salvation
• Why Isaac was chosen over Ishmael and Jacob over Esau
• What it means that God hardened Pharaoh's heart
• The significance of the potter and the clay illustration
• How Jews and Gentiles alike become vessels of mercy through faith
• Why salvation has always been rooted in God's grace rather than human achievement
Romans 9 reminds us that God is sovereign, trustworthy, and faithful. His plan was never based on human greatness, but on His mercy, wisdom, and desire to bless all nations through Jesus Christ.
