MacVoices #23218: MacVoices Live! - More AI Graphics Discussion and Zoom's Changing LLM Policy (2)

Listen Later

Chuck Joiner, Guy Serle, David Ginsburg, Ben Roethig, Eric Bolden, Kelly Guimont, Web Bixby, and Mark Fuccio finish off a conversation about computer generated images and graphics in this MacVoices Live! session. Concerns about the quality and repetitiveness of generated content are raised, as well as the importance of unique perspectives and ideas. The role of historians, librarians, and copyright issues in preserving accurate data is explored. The panel then delves into the recent changes to Zoom's terms of service and their intentions to use conversations for AI training. Confusion and concern surround the changing policy statements and the need for clearer explanations from Zoom is demanded. The episode concludes with a mention of location tracking as another example of the importance of transparency and communication in evolving technologies. (Part 2)
