MacVoices #16095: Mike Woodworth of divergent media On The Integration of EditReady and ScopeBox Mike Woodworth of divergent media makes a pre-NAB visit to MacVoices to talk about two of their products, EditReady and ScopeBox. EditReady is a fast, simple yet powerful transcoder for anyone who needs or wants more than just straight conversion of formats. With LUT (Lookup Table) support and the ability to convert frame rate, resolution and encoder, EditReady is something anyone at any level of video production can use. ScopeBox delivers in software what used to be available only in hardware - scopes to help you make the most of your footage. With their new ScopeLink, you can feed video straight from your favorite NLE (including Final Cut X) straight to ScopeBox. Mike talks about the integration of the two, why LUTs can be a challenge to find, and the suprising reason compression of consumer formats are often faster to transcode than pro formats.
