It's a veritable cavalcade of car crashes today, as the Nightrider gets away from not one, not two, but three MFP pursuit vehicles. We've got it all, Sarse and Scuttle flipping off construction debris, Roop and Charlie exploding through a Caravan, and Goose sliding like a high-octane baseball player headed for home.

I hope you're as interested in a nameless couple arguing on the side of the road as we were because despite there being a spectacular crash in this minute, we spent a good chunk of this episode asking the very important question, "Who is Jonathan?" Your patience will be paid off, however, because we also talk about the infamous blue van that gets obliterated in this scene.

So, funny story, after recording this minute and going back to edit the track I looked up how to pronounce Steve Bisley's name and it turns out that I've been saying it wrong this whole time. Expect me to start using the correct pronounciation around minute 9. There's also a lot of debate about breakfast food.

You don't want to make Roop angry, you wouldn't like him when he's angry (assuming you like him in general). Today we talk about Fat Nancy's diner, the place where everyone knows your name, Goose's disregard for his radio, and reminisce about cautionary tales from Driver's Ed.

Week one wraps up with a lot of discussion about the Nightrider, what he could be on, his relation to Max as a character, and we delve into his first chunk of ranting. Also discussed is the underutilization of Sarse and Scuttle, Roop's temper tantrum, and the lax emmissions laws in the pre-apocalypse.

We rip the guts out for this one and give it the b-jesus! Roop and Charlie fail spectacularly at something that Rick is obviously an expert in, meanwhile, Julia notices a tiny detail that shines a light on one of the MFP officers.

Stop fighting over who gets to drive and join us as we marvel at Roop and Charlie's incompatibility, as well as Rick's utter distain for the term "scoot jockey" (It's this whole thing, better to not ask), and Julia's evaluation of towel cleanliness. 

There's no time for napping or spying on neighbors when a chase is afoot. Today's episode delves into motorcycle gangs stenciling graffiti on the highway, high mortality roadways, and skims the surface of our disgust with Roop.

Mad Max Minute starts off with a bang with a solid minute of production logos and movie credits. We talk about everything from pre-production to casting so while there may not be any dialogue or movie just yet, there's still plenty to cover.
